Description
K-system is the only manufacturer of the high-quality German vertical blind system DECOMATIC® in Slovakia. This unique branded system, with the option of motorized control, is built to handle higher curtain loads (up to 30 kg) and allows the production of a single-piece vertical blind up to 6.9 meters wide and covering an area of up to 25 m². DECOMATIC® vertical blinds are also notable for their wide range of design options. Curved versions with horizontal or vertical arches are ideal for enhancing and modernizing the design of renovated historical buildings. Along with sloped versions, they offer architects great freedom in designing and planning the boldest interior concepts.
A natural functional feature of vertical blinds is the regulation of daylight through 180° tilting of the slats. Vertical blinds reliably protect against unwanted views into your private space, ensuring a sense of comfort and privacy. K-system offers its customers the choice of control using a white cord or a bicolor cord (black and white).
Choose from our rich and exceptional selection of fabrics in various widths from our new modern collection, featuring decorative fabrics made from natural materials that are pleasant to the touch and pleasing to the eye. New blackout materials with an opaque backing layer, as well as fabrics with a curtain or linen effect, will appeal to every customer seeking practicality, elegance, and uniqueness. The slats for vertical blinds can be selected from a wide range of materials and colors. Fabric slats can be chosen not only by color but also by the level of shading they provide. Technical data
The luxurious German DECOMATIC® vertical blind system allows for all possible configurations, including straight and sloped blinds, seamless combinations of straight and sloped sections, curved designs, motorized control, integration into suspended ceilings, and more. The DECOMATIC® system is also designed to handle heavier fabrics. The noise level of the DECOMATIC® motor ranges from 65 to 75 dB, depending on the motor's placement.

Maintenance
K-system manufactures custom-made interior vertical blinds. They are designed for finished interiors.
Remove all obstacles from the path of the blinds that could hinder the movement of the slats. Depending on the chosen control method, operate the vertical blinds by pulling one or the other control cord strand to open or close them. Always open and close the slats fully; tilt them using the bead chain, or, with motorized operation, use the remote or wall switch. If one or more slats are forcibly rotated (for example, by a draft), fully tilt the slats so that as many as possible are completely closed, then gently pull the cord in the same direction. After this action, the slats should return to the correct position.
When operating blinds with a bead chain, always pull the control chain along the wall in a direction perpendicular to the top rail! Failure to follow this procedure may cause the bead chain to jump out of the control mechanism. We recommend spraying the carrying mechanism with silicone spray once a year. The slats are dust-resistant thanks to their antistatic surface treatment. They cannot be washed in an automatic washing machine! Complete cleaning is done using ultrasound. Please note that in areas where smoking occurs, the fabric may yellow due to smoke exposure. This discoloration is irreversible and is not subject to warranty claims.
Warning!
In accordance with the EU regulation effective from March 1, 2014, all shading devices with a control chain must have a breakaway system and be installed at least 60 cm above the floor. Shading devices operated by chain or cord must be secured with a fixing device mounted on the wall at a minimum height of 150 cm from the floor.
- Young children can be strangled by loops in pull cords, chains, tapes, and inner cords that operate the product.
- To prevent strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of the reach of children.
- Cords can wrap around a child's neck.
- Move beds, cribs, and furniture away from window covering cords.
- Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords are not twisted or forming loops.
Warranty conditions
General Warranty Terms
K-system provides custom-made interior vertical blinds. Our trained installation professionals will measure and professionally install the blinds for you. Your request will be forwarded to the nearest installation company in your area.
- The warranty covers manufacturing defects and material defects that prevent the product from functioning properly.
- The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for consequential damages or liability for the product beyond Slovak law.
- If a defect is visible upon unpacking the product, do not install it or have it installed, and promptly file a complaint with your supplier.
- The warranty does not cover the loss of original color in invisible areas, discoloration, or fading caused by sunlight, condensation, acid rain, salt droplets, or any conditions resulting in corrosion or material change, as well as natural color variations in fabric, aluminum, and wood decor. It also does not cover minor imperfections that do not significantly affect the appearance.
- The warranty does not cover any imperfections from the customer's perspective that are caused by adherence to the manufacturing process and applicable standards. For custom products, certain limitations during handling must be expected, and these limitations cannot be the subject of a complaint.
- The manufacturer's warranty also does not cover defects or damages that are a direct or indirect result of:
a) Incorrect installation (the warranty is covered by the installation company)
b) Improper use and failure to follow the operating and maintenance instructions
c) Use of inappropriate spare parts, accessories, or power sources (e.g., electrical power supply)
d) Transport or any other form of handling
e) Interference with the mechanism or modification of the product
f) Natural disasters, inadequate ventilation, and high humidity.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any breakage of the windowpane glass due to thermal stress. On construction sites, it is necessary to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Do not partially close interior and exterior shading elements. Partial shading increases the risk of thermal breakage of the glass (does not apply to tempered ESG glass), which can be eliminated by keeping the shading device at least 6 cm away from the glass.
