ECO bubble wrap

Bubble wrap is one of the most versatile packaging materials out there!

K-system primarily uses aluminum in the production of shading systems. The high consumption of this type of packaging material, which protects equipment from damage caused by sharp edges, led us to purchase our own extruder. For many years now, K-system has been producing bubble wrap not only for its own use. Bubble wrap is, after all, an essential item for every company.

A new initiative for 2024 is the launch of a project to utilize recycled material in the production of bubble wrap. We believe that everyone cares about the environment. The possibility of producing bubble wrap with a 70/30 ratio of recycled to virgin material has excited us. The savings generated from purchasing granules and regranules help offset the high energy demands. Thanks to this solution, there was no need to increase the price of bubble wrap despite the rise in energy costs

Advantages of bubble wrap:

• It is an excellent filling material for boxes.
• Bubble wrap is flexible and adapts to the shape of the packaged goods.
• It is recyclable.
• It helps save the environment.

Bubble wrap made from regranulate obtained by recycling PVC material is not intended for packaging food products (it does not have a food-grade certificate). The advantage for the customer is the favorable price, at the expense of lower transparency.
