Printed vertical blinds made in K-system
A special white fabric is used for printing vertical blinds, allowing for one-sided digital photo printing with any desired motif. These can be photographs of important life moments, pets, still life, or company logos. The provided file must have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI to ensure a sharp image. Once our graphic designer approves the suitability of the file, we send the client a draft for approval. After the draft is approved, the fabric can go to print.
What is DPI?
The term DPI stands for "dots per inch." It refers to the number of displayed dots (pixels) that fit within one inch (1 inch = 2.54 cm). For the production of printed vertical blinds, a graphic background of 300 DPI is required. This means that 300 dots are displayed within a length of 2.54 cm. Generally, the higher the DPI, the more detailed the final result will be.
How are printed vertical blinds made?
The textile banner with a weight of 260 g/m² is printed as a whole and then cut into strips after printing and drying. On a special welding machine, the individual strips are sealed, and holders with loops for attachment to the vertical blind runner are installed. The entire vertical blind is assembled in production to form the image. The individual spacer adjustments are made to ensure the best possible result. Despite the best efforts, clients are advised that especially with printed letters and lines, slight deviations and imperfections may occur, as the individual strips partially overlap.
Photo blinds and their uses
Vertical blinds with photo printing are a stylish shading solution. However, they can also be used for space separation or covering specific areas, such as a gas boiler. Given their higher acquisition costs, they are not as widely sold as standard vertical blinds. Nevertheless, photo blinds have found popularity among target groups such as wellness centers, offices, spas, and similar establishments. Our customers also include private kindergartens and schools, as well as nail salons, tanning studios, and beauty centers. We are always pleased when we find a customer with a grand space who is not afraid of unconventional elements in their interior design. And vertical blinds with photo printing are certainly one of those unique elements.
