The upper and lower guide rails with the option for integration are made from a dimensionally stable extruded aluminum profile measuring 22x35 mm. The lifetime durability of the frame is ensured by the internal aluminum corner profile. The door leaf is also made from an extruded aluminum profile measuring 11x55 mm. The corners of the door leaf are cut at a 45˚ angle. The individual leaves are easily removable using an Allen key. The entire perimeter of the leaf is fitted with a recessed brush seal that ensures a perfect seal to the window frame.

The innovative method of securing the mesh into the screen frame ensures higher strength due to the new shape of the black polypropylene sealing. The UltraVue2^® mesh is a unique black mesh that significantly outperforms transparent mesh and BetterVue^® in its properties. UltraVue2 mesh is designed for improved durability, increased airflow, and easy maintenance. The durable, hydrophobic coating will never wash off, allowing for an uninterrupted, clear view even during rain. UltraVue2 mesh enhances light permeability in windows with low-E glass.

Both BetterVue^® and UltraVue2^® meshes are made using the patented Water Shed Technology™ to maintain a clear optical view and extend the lifespan of the mesh. Thanks to a special surface treatment, water and dirt do not accumulate in the mesh openings. This provides a brilliant view, higher airflow compared to standard mesh, and more natural light. The Tuffscreen^® Heavy-Duty Mesh Screen replaces the previously used Petscreen and is designed for those who need a stronger and more durable insect screen. Tuffscreen^® mesh is made from polyester fiber coated with a vinyl layer and is the most durable mesh on the market. It is three times stronger than standard fiberglass mesh and doesn't need to be replaced as often. Not only does it withstand the claws of pets, but it also provides a significantly better quality of view. Maximum and minimum dimensions for sliding door insect screens LUXALEX

LUXALEX sliding door insect screens require no special maintenance. The mesh is sensitive to mechanical damage and damage from sharp objects, so handle the screen carefully. For cleaning, simply wipe the mesh and the frame with a damp cloth with added detergent, or after removing the leaf from the guide profile, gently rinse it with a soft stream of water (not under pressure) and dry it off. Do not use aggressive chemical agents. To maintain the panoramic view and ensure proper airflow, we recommend regularly cleaning the mesh. Dirt caught in the mesh can attract small birds, which may damage the mesh.

It is not necessary to store the LUXALEX sliding door insect screen for the winter. However, you can extend the lifespan of the mesh by removing the leaf for the winter and storing it in a non-loaded area, such as a basement. In our climate conditions, the temperature difference between winter (-25˚C) and summer (38˚C) is significant.

General warranty conditions

The company K-system supplies custom-made Luxalex sliding door insect screens. Our trained installation workers will measure and professionally install the screens for you. Your inquiry will be directed to the nearest installation company in your area.

• The warranty covers manufacturing defects and material defects that prevent the product from functioning properly.
• The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for consequential damages or liability for the product beyond Slovak law.
• If a defect is visible upon unpacking the product, do not install it or have it installed, and promptly file a complaint with your supplier.
• The warranty does not cover the loss of original color in invisible areas, discoloration, or fading caused by sunlight, condensation, acid rain, salt droplets, or any conditions resulting in corrosion or material change, as well as natural color variations in fabric, aluminum, and wood decor. It also does not cover minor imperfections that do not significantly affect the appearance.
• The warranty does not cover any imperfections from the customer's perspective that are caused by adherence to the manufacturing process and applicable standards. For custom products, certain limitations during handling must be expected, and these limitations cannot be the subject of a complaint.
• The manufacturer's warranty also does not cover defects or damages that are a direct or indirect result of:

a)    Incorrect installation (the warranty is covered by the installation company)
b)    Improper use and failure to follow the operating and maintenance instructions
c)    Use of inappropriate spare parts, accessories, or power sources (e.g., electrical power supply)
d)    Transport or any other form of handling
e)    Interference with the mechanism or modification of the product
f)     Natural disasters, inadequate ventilation, and high humidity.
